Designing an Online Escape Room as an Educational Tool

In this chapter, online escape rooms are assessed as part of game-based learning (GBL) that can be used as a free educational tool for teachers to enrich their remote classes. This study was created to test the possibilities that an escape room can provide in a remote learning environment. The benefits and the downsides are explored to understand the design process and the results from the different mechanisms used. The results can give an insight into future possibilities for making escape rooms for classes or for using this format as a prototype for an escape room application. Attālināts darbs izglītības iestāžu darbības pilnveidošanai

Maģistra darba “Attālinātais darbs izglītības iestāžu darbības pilnveidošanai” mērķis ir izstrādāt ieteikumus Latvijas skolām attālinātā darba izmantošanai skolu darbības pilnveidošanai ikdienas darbā un krīzes apstākļos. Maģistra darbā tiek aktualizēta pandēmijas laika pieredze izglītības iestāžu darbā. Empīriskā pētījuma ietvaros, intervējot 11 Latvijas izglītības iestāžu vadības pārstāvjus, atklāti labās prakses piemēri attālinātam darbam izglītības iestādēs. Secināts, ka attālināts darbs ir veiksmīgi izmantojams turpmākā skolu darbībā, un, balstoties teorijas un empīriskajā pētījuma daļā, izveidoti ieteikumi attālināta darba izmantošanai Latvijas skolu darbības pilnveidošanai.

Maģistra darba tēma ir “Svešvalodu skolotāju labizjūtas stiprināšana attālināto mācību procesā”, un tā mērķis ir izpētīt svešvalodu skolotāju labizjūtu attālināto mācību procesa laikā un izstrādāt ieteikumus pedagogiem un skolas vadībai skolotāju labizjūtas stiprināšanai. Skolotāja labizjūtai ir liela nozīme: tā ietekmē apmierinātību ar darbu un dzīvi kopumā, attiecības ar skolēniem un kolēģiem, skolēnu emocionālo stāvokli un mācību sasniegumus. The oral histopathology teaching in Nanjing Medical University has been extraordinary.
